The main bussiness fields of the EAST-4D GmbH Lightweight Structures is the development of lightweight structures with CAD, FEA and CAM technologies as well as the manufacturing of prototypes and small series.

Our manufacturing processes are characterized of high flexibility and creativity. We use metal, sand and wax mandrels as forming tools for filament winding. We deployed glass, aramid, standard and high modulus carbon fibers in combination with standard and special matrix systems as composite materials.

EAST-4D develops and manufactures beside filament winding structures also RTM structures (for prototypes also manual lay-ups and prepreg technology).
