Our employees are experienced in the interpretation and design of lightweight construction structures in mechanical engineering, construction of vehicles as well as in air and space technology. Straightforward the permanent depelopment in applications of lightweight construction materials require a constructional range material-adapted thinking.

A simple substitution of a steel part by fiber-reinforced composite leads usually to unsatisfactory solutions. The anisotropic material behavior must be considered promptly in the first stage of the design phase to be able to use the advantages of the lightweight material optimally.
We promote research and development projects to optimizing lightweight parts, developing new designs of existing structures to lightweight construction systems. This new lightweight systems made of modern materials. We use user-specific selected materials.
Our services cover the computational interpretation, the determination of spatial material properties, the testing of materials as well as the manufacturing of prototypes and small series, whereby we cooperate closely with well kown companies and institutes. In the sense of complete life cycle engineering we offer a complete package of product and capital outlay calculation and an integral ecological balance calculation of the lightweight units and modules.
In the engineering we operate with modern CAx techniques. To manufacture challenging prototypes and components we use filament winding and RTM technology (Resin transfer Moulding). The EAST-4D attach importance to the quality assurance.
